Encouragements from Tom, our Chinese Ministry Evangelist

Tom works at Chester Hill as the Chinese Ministry Leader, and a few days a week at Moore College mentoring students who want to explore Chinese minstry in the future. He shares some prayer points for Chinese Ministry over the past few months.

– International students from China are flooding into Australia and we even can not find a place for them to stay in the city and surrounding. I had helped two female students refereed from Christian connections in China to find a place to stay and still know another female student is still seeking the place to live. Please pray these students are able to find place to stay and will be loved by Christians and churches, and they will meet Christ in their short stay here.

– I also started teaching on the theme of Marriage in our Sunday gatherings. It will be a series of Bible stories and discussions on marriage from the Bible and some skills to maintain a good marriage. My aim is to help the non-believer understand the concepts of Christian marriage and Jesus, as well as help Christians to trust the Lord in their marriages and build up their marriages. Please pray for the Spirit to work in their heart and give me the right words to say and encourage these couples.

– After 4 years, we are finally able to plan to visit our families and relatives in China in June this year.  For that to happen, I also need to make arrangements for help for Sundays in June, please pray that God will provide in time. I also need to apply for a visa to go back; please pray there is no further disruption in that.
