Evangelism and New Churches (ENC) exists to see more people in more places effectively proclaiming Christ, in partnership with the parishes and organisations of the Diocese, to see the lost in Sydney and beyond find life and hope in Jesus.

Greenfields Church Planting
Greenfields areas expect substantial population growth in the next 20 years, and the opportunities for the gospel are boundless. Some Greenfield areas will have 100,000 new residents with no church within a 20-30 minute drive.
Urban Renewal
Urban renewal areas already have a large, settled population and ENC helps churches in these areas to rethink their vision and evangelistic aims, considering their suburb and people.
Cross-Cultural Ministry
We need to do more than plant churches. We need to reach people who are unlikely to come to our churches. We need evangelists and cross-cultural laborers.
Marginalised Communities
Extensive research has shown that marginalised communities remain underserved not just by general society but also by the churches. We look for those who have shown faithfulness in ministry, leadership skills and a desire to grow. We especially look for entrepreneurs and pioneers. We look for those who haven’t fit into the existing educational and ministry training systems.
Student Ministry
If you are a student at a Bible College and would like to explore doing student ministry in any of these areas, contact us. We currently have student ministers in our church plants and networks.
