In the late 1990’s God challenged many people around the world to produce a prayer guide that encouraged the church to pray for salvation of Hindu people. The first “30 Days Hindu Prayer Focus,” rolled off the press in 2004. Twelve years later, in 2016, many people around the world began to sense that God was again calling the global body of Christ to unite in prayer for Hindu peoples. This Australian version, has been edited by Clive B, and is now in it’s seventh year of production.
Paul wrote to the Galatians saying, “And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, ‘In you shall all the nations be blessed.'” (ESV, Galatians 3:8)
The Gospel is that we, as followers of Christ, are spiritually blessed so that we can bless all nations. Through this guide, it is this posture of blessing that we take towards Hindu peoples worldwide. Specifically, we will pray that Hindus will encounter the love of Christ, the light of the world and turn to Him as their Lord and Saviour.
